With 25 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker and therapist, Patricia Regan, LICSW brings deep compassion, skill, and insight to her work. Practicing since 2000, Patricia offers a warm, collaborative, and individually tailored approach to therapy that meets each client where they are.

Patricia has extensive advanced training in trauma therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and hypnosis. Her therapeutic style draws from a broad range of modalities, allowing her to adapt to the unique needs and goals of each client. She has helped individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships, health concerns, and the experiences of those from marginalized communities.

Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to service and advocacy. From 1997 to 2012, Patricia served as Head of Therapy at AIDS Action Boston, where she worked with a wide range of clients, addressing complex emotional and social issues with care and integrity. From 2012 to 2025, she worked with the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, providing counseling and support to individuals adjusting to vision loss and helping them access vital services. Between 2002 and 2018, she was also a clinical therapist at Community Legal Services and Counseling Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, serving a diverse population with a focus on accessibility, empathy, and empowerment.

Patricia is a graduate of Tufts University and earned her Master of Social Work from the Simmons Graduate School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts. Known by her clients and colleagues as compassionate, kind, and fun-loving, she creates a safe and welcoming space where healing and growth can take root.
